Hi Shirley,
I haven’t written you in a long time, so I don’t know if you remember me, but I’m from Houston, and I got Annie (papillon {Star}} from you more than two years ago. Annie is doing great, and is just the best little dog. She’s all grown up now, but she still is right around 5 pounds, but healthy as can be.
I’m fortunate because I live only a couple of blocks away from a little park, where many of the neighbors and dogs gather in the evenings after work. All of these people really love their dogs, and it’s a great place for everyone—dogs and people—to socialize. We sometimes also go to a designated dog park, but it’s just not the same. Right now, Annie is the smallest dog at “our” park, but sometimes there have been a Chihuahua or a Yorkie of about the same size. Two of the other regulars on the other end size-wise are a Great Pyrenees and a Great Dane-Dogo Argentino mix; both are great dogs. I really like taking Annie there so that she can just be a dog, but, in fact, she is a social butterfly with all of the people, but she does have her dog pals that she like to romp with. Above all, she likes to smell everything, and roll in whatever place may be “the spot” of the day.
I always look at your page and some day I’m probably going to want another little dog, but right now Annie and I are doing great, so maybe, I’m just a one-dog person.
Lynn
